The primary function of the Clarence Mitchell Library is to support the education of the students at Highland Community College. We want you to be aware that our staff is available to help you with any of your research needs.  Never hesitate to contact the library for assistance finding resources.

Research consultations. Consult one of our staff librarians (Laura, Michael, or Judy) for assistance with your research.

Assistance with Distance Learning. Contact library and academic computing support for technical assistance with Moodle and telecourses.

HCC Student Writing Style and Form Guide. Check the style guide created by Highland's own English staff members. This guide is preferred by many Highland instructors for citations and references in term papers.  Double check with your instructor -- they may have a preference for the MLA (Modern Language Association) or the APA (American Psychological Association) style guides, both of which are available in the library.
